Weekly Photo Challenge: Layers

Weekly Photo Challenge: Layers

Where’s the best place to find layers? In nature, of course. Canyons, rivers, and rocks are all beautiful products of nature that happen accidentally. It is awe-inspiring to think of how things in nature have come to be. Canyons, for instance, are a result of millions of years of erosion. They are made up of layers upon layers upon layers of sedimentary rock.  Nature sure takes its time to become beautiful, alright. Each layer of rock was new at one point, but became older and was covered by newer layers as time passed.

On a side note, I also came across an arc made of layers upon layers of deer antlers (poor deer) in Yellowstone National Park. I thought it was pretty cool and definitely worth sharing.
